All Saints Blog Week of June 6th, 2016

School Innovation Plan
We are currently reviewing our academic and wellness data from this year to create our innovation plan for next year.  We take academic results from grades 7-12, derived from a number of sources, as well as student wellness information from student surveys and online feedback and use the information to formulate goals for next year.  Our innovation plan establishes goals in the areas of Community, Culture and Caring, Literacy, Numeracy and Pathways, Planning and Programming.  The goals and strategies that we develop as part of our innovation plan will help drive staff professional development next year.

All Saints School Council Staff Appreciation Breakfast
The staff at All Saints would like to thank our hard-working school council for providing a staff appreciation breakfast this past Friday.  Teachers, Educational Assistants, Custodians and Office Administrators were treated to an abundance of food to start off the day.  Many thanks to all of our parents who contributed to the event.

Grade 12 Graduation rehearsal and Grad Mass
We ran our grade 12 students through a rehearsal for our upcoming Graduation Ceremony this past Wednesday.  We reviewed seating and ticket information, while explaining to our grade 12’s how the grad will unfold on June 29th.  We also reviewed some information related to the Grad dinner and dance (prom) taking place this Thursday, June 9th.  Parents and Guardians are reminded of, and encouraged to review, the student contract information related to the dinner and dance that students and parents signed.  Student contract page 1 Student contract page 2
Following our rehearsal, we celebrated our Graduation Mass for our grade 12 students and parents/guardians.  Thank you to Fr. Darold who made time to come to celebrate with us.  We appreciate all of the student and staff support for this special day, including our sound help, musical ministry and student intentions.

We are also looking for some representatives currently from grade 7 who will be in grade 8 next year and organizing activities for our 7&8 students.  Interested candidates can pick up an application form in the main office.
