7&8 Parent-Teacher Interviews (early dismissal)
All Saints wishes to remind the parents of students in grades 7&8 that parent/teacher interviews will be held on Thursday, November 9th. There will be an early dismissal at 1:30 pm that day for all students in grades 7-12. The times for interviews are 2 pm to 4 pm and again from 5 pm until 7 pm.  We will also have a special “optional” session delivered by our 7&8 Resource Department (between 5:00 and 5:30 pm), providing information on the MyBlueprint online pathways planning tool, use of technology tools in the classroom and student organization among other topics.
Booking interviews for November 9th will be done on-line through the You Can Book Me program. You can see teacher schedules at https://allsaintshigh1.youcanbook.me/ or see the link on our website.  Parents/guardians are reminded that if they are unable to schedule an interview with a particular teacher, they are welcome to contact the teacher at the school to have a telephone discussion.  Please note interviews are 10 minutes in length and parents are asked to request a maximum of one interview slot per teacher.

All Saints Craft Fair
We would like to thank all of those in our community who came out to visit this year’s All Saints Craft Fair.  This annual tradition has grown in size and this year featured over 160 tables of fine gifts and craft items, with some proceeds going to our Christmas Hamper program.  Thank you to all who participated and helped organize this great event!

Ticks and Lyme Disease
All Saints would like to bring to your attention that Ottawa Public Health has identified that the blacklegged tick that carries the bacteria that can cause Lyme disease is present in the Ottawa/Kanata area.  Ottawa Public Health is committed to reducing the health risks to residents posed by Lyme disease through prevention, education and awareness, as well as surveillance. Preventing tick bites is key to the prevention of Lyme disease.

Victoria Youth Quilters
Ms. Forte, who works in our Student Services Department, would like to thank the great group of students who participate in the Victoria Youth Quilters group.  The group works throughout the year, creating beautiful quilts that go to help warm and comfort individuals struggling with cancer.  Here, the group is pictured with a beautiful quilt called "Under the Rainbow" which has been a work of love and devotion over this past year. The group recently raffled the quilt to help support their program.  A big thank you to this small but committed group of individuals.
