New School Messenger App
We recently informed our school community that our school would soon begin using the SchoolMessenger communication platform. The advantage of SchoolMessenger over our current platform is that SchoolMessenger allows parents to select their contact preferences (contact by phone, email, or both) for each of the following different types of messages: Emergency messages, Attendance messages, General messages, Teacher to Parent messages, and School to Student messages.
There is also a free SchoolMessenger App available for both iOS and Android based phones which enables you to receive notifications of school messages as well as set your contact preferences for each kind of message.
What parents need to do: Please click the following link and follow the instructions in the School Messenger Parent Account User Guide to create your parent account and choose your contact preferences (contact by phone, email, or both) for each message type. Grade 12 Graduation Mass
This past Wednesday, we had the opportunity to come together as a Catholic School Community for our grade 12 Graduation Mass. The Mass was an opportunity to for our grade 12 students and their families to view their hard work and effort over the years from a spiritual point of view. We have been blessed by the efforts of our students who participated in the music and reading liturgy, as well as the organization by our Chaplaincy Leader Lyndsay Moore-Chung. We again are thankful for the participation of Fr. Daryold who has been extremely supportive of our Mass celebrations throughout the year. A special thank you to all of our parents and guardians who were able to join us!
Grade 12 Prom
Grade 12 Prom
Our grade 12 students and many staff celebrated “Prom” last Friday at the National Arts Centre. The evening was a huge success with a great deal of organizing on behalf of staff and our prom committee. The Arts Centre was a beautiful backdrop to the evening with an incredibly decorated hall and balcony with magnificent views of our Nation’s Capital. A special thank you to the staff who were able to join us for the event, as well as the hard work of Ms. Dos Santos and Ms. Venedam in creating a truly magical evening.
